FAQs
When will I receive my planner if I pre-order now?
The first 100 pre-orders will ship in early June, with the rest shipping in late June. We'll send you a shipping notification with tracking info once your order is on its way.
Do you ship internationally?
Currently we only ship within the US. Send us an email with your country in the subject line if you want us to ship somewhere else.
What makes this different from other planners?
Most planners give you calendars, task slots, and fluff pages without any guidance. The Ponderosa Planner is built on a simple productivity system that is easy-to-use and works well for almost everyone who tries it. It also has cool art, uses sustainable materials, and just looks and feels great.
Can I use a fountain pen?
We've tested the planner with ballpoint, gel, felt and fountain pens. All of them write well on our smooth 120 gsm paper with no bleeding or feathering. Pencil also writes nicely and can be easily erased.
Does this replace my digital task management setup?
It's up to you! Digital tools are useful for collaborative projects, but for single-player stuff, we prefer pen and paper.
How long does the planner last?
The planner contains 54 Brain Dump pages and 110 To Do pages. If you use two Brain Dump pages and five To Do pages per week, that's 22 weeks of usage.
The Backstory
Kael and Mila started Ponderosa after being frustrated by the complexity and counter-productivity of almost every digital productivity tool. We had plenty of fun setting up our little Notion Kanban boards, or making custom workflows in Jira, but we pretty soon realized that these tools were more of a distraction than anything else. The system that keeps you focused should not be something you spend time maintaining, organizing, logging into or reloading every day. It should be always accessible, easily modified, and free from all possible distractions: we’re bringing back pen and paper.
Why Ponderosa
Ponderosa is scraggly, rugged variety of pine tree with deep red bark that smells like vanilla. It grows surprisingly well in the most challenging conditions and symbolizes our value of perseverance and our commitment to always use sustainable materials.
